Remote Elementary Curriculum Developer Needed!

About the Role

We’re searching for a passionate and experienced Elementary Curriculum Developer to join our growing team on a remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual who loves working with children and crafting engaging, effective learning materials. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality curriculum for elementary school students (grades K-5), focusing on a variety of subjects. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and contribute to a collaborative remote team environment.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be developing engaging and age-appropriate curriculum aligned with common core standards (or other relevant state standards, depending on the project). This involves creating lesson plans, activities, assessments, and other supporting materials. You’ll be expected to research best practices in elementary education, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into your curriculum designs. Collaboration with other team members, including instructional designers and subject matter experts, will be crucial to ensure consistency and quality across all materials. Regular communication and updates on project progress will also be part of your role.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, specifically at the elementary school level, is required. Proven experience in designing engaging and effective lesson plans, assessments, and other instructional materials is essential. Familiarity with common core standards or other state standards is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital for collaborating effectively with the team and communicating clearly with stakeholders. Experience using various educational technologies and platforms will be a significant advantage.

We value candidates who are comfortable adapting to new technologies and are eager to learn and grow in this rapidly evolving field.

Working Remotely

This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. We provide all the necessary tools and resources for remote work, and we encourage open communication and collaboration amongst the team. You’ll need to be self-motivated and disciplined to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Regular virtual meetings and online communication will be used to keep the team connected and ensure projects are progressing smoothly.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that values work-life balance. Specific details regarding compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

Application Process

Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter highlighting their relevant experience and qualifications.
